I am a widow. I've just begun my third year. My late husband succumbed to cancer in the summer of 2007. We met during undergraduate school at The Ohio State University. As a 40 something looking back, I'm awed by our naive bravery. We were together for just over 20 years. We were together when he died.
I decided to start a blog because when I went looking for survival inspiration I found only books and bereavement counseling. I'm an active person. I believe a real-time, dynamic process would have been helpful. Since I still don't see one out there, I'm putting forth my two cents.
